Memory Cushions are special keepsakes made from your loved one's clothing. Send us your precious clothes and Penny & Rose will create a Memory Cushion for you to cherish forever. Memory Cushions can be created from your child's babygrows and from passed loved ones' clothes.
Memory Cushions
The patchwork cushion measures 50cm x 50cm and is constructed using either square or rectangular patchwork panels.
Ideal fabrics: This cushion can be made out of a range of fabrics such as jumpers, t-shirts, shirts, blankets, dressing gowns etc. It is the only cushion that can be made using babygrows. Please note we cannot use fur, leather, sheepskin or sheer fabrics.
Patchwork Cushions
Collared Cushions
The patchwork cushion measures 50cm x 50cm and is created using an untouched collar of an existing shirt. The shirt can be layered up with cardigans or jumpers, just as your loved one used to wear.
Ideal fabrics: This cushion can be made out of a range of fabrics such as jumpers, t-shirts, shirts, blankets, dressing gowns etc. Please note we cannot use fur, leather, sheepskin, sheer fabrics or babygrows for this cushion.
Plain Cushions
The plain cushion measures 50cm x 50cm and can be made from most fabrics. This type of cushion is very popular for jumpers your loved ones used to wear. These cushions can be left plain or embellished with appliques and embroidery. See the pricing details for embellishments here.

Lettered Cushions
The lettered cushion measures approximately 42cm x 30cm and uses all sorts of clothes to display wording of your choice. Many people request these cushions using first names, surnames and other short words such as 'home' and 'love'. These cushions make popular gifts for newborns and newlyweds.
Ideal fabrics: This cushion can be made from fabrics such as jumpers, t-shirts, shirts, blankets, dressing gowns etc. Please note jumpers can only be used for the background and not the letters. Please provide finer fabrics for the lettering. We cannot use fur, leather, sheepskin or sheer fabrics.
Animal Cushions
Animal cushions make a unique gift for your home. Penny & Rose have made owl cushions, elephant cushions and cat cushions. These cushions are popular for children's bedrooms, however, please note these cushions are not toys and are intended for display purposes only. Animal cushions cost £35 each.
